Claire Bennett—having restored her maiden name alongside a hyphenated legacy—was reviewing a strategic merger agreement with a major Chicago partner.

David Harrison stepped into the office, placed a steaming cup of coffee on the desk, and smiled with satisfaction:
"Claire, your financial performance report for this quarter has shaken the entire Midwestern board. Exceptional growth. The directors are considering an even higher executive position: Executive Vice President of Nationwide Operations."
I looked up, maintaining a calm, composed smile: "Thank you, David. But this success doesn't just come from spreadsheet numbers; it stems from sweeping away the murky corners within corporate financial systems."
David chuckled heartily: "Indeed. You're a nightmare for financial fraudsters. By the way, I heard the lawsuit involving your former family finally reached a complete federal close?"
