Chapter 80 - Happily Ever AfterAs the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in breathtaking strokes of amber, violet, and gold, the reception tent came alive with laughter, clinking crystal glasses, and soft music.

Ethan and Clara stood on the polished wooden dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. As the romantic notes of their favorite song filled the warm evening air, Ethan pulled her close, his hands resting securely on her waist, while her arms wrapped gently around his neck.

"Penny for your thoughts, Mrs. Vance," Ethan murmured, resting his chin softly against her hair.

Clara smiled, looking out past the glowing lanterns toward the tranquil lake where stars were beginning to twinkle in the twilight sky. "I was just thinking about the night in your penthouse when I thought everything was falling apart."

Ethan tightened his embrace, pressing a soft kiss to her temple. "We walked through fire, Clara. But it forged us into something unbreakable."

"Do you think we'll ever have a normal, quiet life?" she asked playfully, looking up into his deep, adoring eyes.

"Define normal," Ethan laughed softly. "Between the foundation, the global tech expansion, and Marcus trying to teach our future children how hostile takeovers work before they learn algebra... probably not."

Clara laughed, a bright, musical sound that echoed happily across the lawn. She rested her head back against his chest, listening to the steady, strong rhythm of his heartbeat—the heartbeat that would guide her through every tomorrow.

"Good," Clara whispered, smiling into the warm evening breeze. "I wouldn't want it any other way."

And they lived happily, fiercely, and unconditionally ever after.
